Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Brethren Care Village. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and services are provided.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify changes in resident condition and develop strategies for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Assist with training and education of new staff members and students.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Working Conditions:
The Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. The position requires standing, walking, and lifting, with occasional exposure to hazardous materials and infectious diseases.
