Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Surgical Technologist to provide exceptional patient care and support in the Operating Room. As a Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for maintaining aseptic techniques, anticipating surgical needs, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure seamless procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate superior knowledge of aseptic and surgical techniques in the role of the first scrub.
  • Anticipate need for unscheduled procedures or unanticipated turn of events during a surgical procedure.
  • Support Leadership team and demonstrate leadership abilities.
  • Recognize safety hazards and initiate appropriate preventative and corrective actions.
  • Anticipate need for unscheduled procedures or unanticipated turn of events during a surgical procedure.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
  • 2 years' experience as a Surgical Technologist
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA or Tech in Surgery - Certified (TS-C) via NCCT
  • BLS via AHA required
  • Surgical Technologist registration required
  • Must be eligible for Surgical Technologist registration via Commonwealth of Virginia at time of hire. Registration must be completed within 6 months of hire.
