Position Overview:
This role is vital for the success of our retail operations.

Retail Sales Associates engage directly with both wholesale and retail clients to identify their requirements, respond to inquiries regarding Sherwin-Williams offerings, and suggest suitable solutions.

Associates are also responsible for swiftly addressing any customer issues to ensure optimal client satisfaction while staying informed about product features and upholding the high quality and visual standards of the merchandise and store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Assist customers in-store and via phone by assessing their needs and recommending relevant products and services.
  • Establish and nurture productive relationships with both wholesale and retail customers.
  • Accurately process sales transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Meet and strive to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate work order documentation and formulas.
  • Retrieve appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed.
  • Tint and mix products according to customer specifications.
  • Restock shelves and arrange displays to enhance product visibility.
  • Ensure cleanliness of store equipment.
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
  • Support delivery operations as required.
  • Keep assigned areas in-stock and visually appealing.
  • Stay knowledgeable about available products and discuss options with customers.
  • Adhere to inventory management procedures.
  • Propose strategies to enhance sales performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for a work visa.
  • Must be capable of retrieving materials from shelves and floor stacks, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Hold at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
  • Experience in selling paint and related products is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with operating tinting and mixing equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language is a plus.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding Spanish is beneficial.
