Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Charge Nurse RN/LPN to join our team at SKLD Zeeland. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to our residents and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess residents' conditions and develop individualized care plans to ensure their physical and psychosocial needs are met.
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and maintaining accurate medical records.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing, Unit Managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff to promote a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that enhance resident care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current state license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • CPR certification.
  • One year of professional nursing experience in long-term care, preferred.
  • Knowledge of applicable state nursing regulations and current federal laws.
