SAINT PAULS INC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Aide to join our team. As a Residential Aide, you will play a vital role in providing support and services to our clients residing in the shelter.
Key Responsibilities- Greet new arriving clients and assist with the screening of personal property, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
- Dispense prepared meals to residents and maintain accurate records of meal distribution.
- Keep the refrigeration and microwave ovens, as well as the designated dining common area, clean and well-maintained.
- Attend social services and multidisciplinary team meetings to provide input and support.
- Engage with clients during meal times and recreational activities, promoting a smoke-free and drug-free environment.
- Escort and assist clients to HRA, Social Security Administration, and Housing interviews as needed.
- Attend community resident meetings as assigned.
- H.S. diploma/GED and Certified Peer Specialist certification.
- Knowledge of DHS rules and regulations, with the ability to maintain accurate and timely activities documentation.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- Basic computer literacy required.
- Must have Food handler safety certification upon hiring, Opiate Overdose Prevention Training, and ability to administer Naloxone.
- CPR training a plus or willing to attain certification.
- Ability to work alternate shifts and weekends.
