As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in executing our merchandising and inventory strategies at the Pet Care Center. Your responsibilities will include managing stock, maintaining cleanliness, operating the cash register, and ensuring a positive experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the upkeep and inventory management of the Pet Care Center.
  • Ensure products are well-stocked, accurately priced, and attractively displayed for our customers.
  • Handle register transactions to provide an exceptional experience for each visitor.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in our sales model and assist guests as needed.
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to animal welfare and adhere to care protocols to maintain pet health.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance your expertise in the role.
  • Foster a positive team culture through collaboration and inclusion.
  • Follow established operational guidelines and procedures.
  • Complete additional tasks and special projects as assigned.
  • Address guest inquiries and escalate to the Leader on Duty when necessary.

  • Utilize Selling Behaviors: You are essential in delivering an outstanding guest experience within our Pet Care Locations by applying our Sales Model effectively.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
  • Proficiency in mathematics and strong communication skills are required.
  • A genuine interest in animal care and a professional demeanor are essential.
  • Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills are necessary for engaging with the public and team members.

Work Environment

This position primarily involves indoor tasks, although some responsibilities may require brief outdoor activities. The role necessitates physical activity, including lifting merchandise (up to 50 pounds) and standing for extended periods. Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends, is essential to meet operational needs.
