Key Responsibilities- Set up, operate, and convert autogenous, laser, and plasma cutting systems to produce precise and efficient components.
- Timely replacement of wear parts on cutting systems to maintain the quality and performance of the machines.
- Monitor and control various parameters during the cutting process, such as cutting speed and cutting quality, to ensure smooth operation and high quality of the manufactured parts.
- Inspect and measure manufactured components using suitable measuring tools and equipment to ensure that the required dimensions and tolerances are met.
- Successful completion of secondary school (qualifying secondary school leaving certificate)
- Manual dexterity and interest in manual and mechanical precision work
- Forward-thinking and responsible behavior
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Motivation to participate in interesting projects in the steel industry
