Payroll Operations Specialist
Onsite Position
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Payroll Operations Specialist to become a vital part of TEEMA Group. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge in payroll management and demonstrate proficiency in payroll systems to ensure smooth payroll execution. This role involves managing payroll for a workforce of approximately 400 employees distributed across various states in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and manage employee payroll in a timely manner across multiple states, ensuring adherence to both state and federal regulations.
- Employ payroll software to enter, verify, and reconcile payroll information, including hours worked, bonuses, deductions, and taxes for employees in different locations.
- Collaborate effectively with Human Resources and finance teams to guarantee precise payroll processing and reporting.
- Proactively investigate and resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Contribute to payroll-related projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing processes and operational efficiency.
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues regarding payroll procedures and software usage.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in payroll across multiple locations and states.
- Comprehensive understanding of payroll principles, laws, practices, and regulations applicable in various states.
- Proficient in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, SAP, etc.) and Microsoft Office applications.
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field is required; CPP certification is a significant advantage.
