We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to join our team at The Clinic at Waimea. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional medical care and guiding the direction of our clinic.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. You will work as an employed physician with an occasional hospital call coverage (compensation included). Responsibilities
  1. Provide high-quality patient care and medical expertise to our patients
  2. Lead and manage our medical team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
  3. Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to drive best practices
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient care and satisfaction
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Doctor of Medicine/osteopathy degree from an accredited school
  • An active license to practice medicine in the State of Hawaii
  • Current registration with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and a State Controlled Substance license from the State of Hawaii Department of Public Safety's Narcotics Enforcement Division (NED)
  • At least two years of professional experience as a practicing physician
