Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Watermark Retirement Communities. As a Sous Chef, you will play a key role in leading our kitchen team and ensuring the highest quality of food and service for our residents and guests.

• Lead and manage the kitchen team to achieve exceptional food quality and consistency
• Develop and implement menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary needs
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and execute catering events and special occasions
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize efficiency
• Train and develop kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge

• Culinary training through an accredited program or four years' experience in an equivalent position of responsibility
• ServSafe certification or ability to complete certification within the first 90 days of employment
• Catering experience and computer literacy
• Able to work all shifts and days of the week
