Job Summary

The Kingsbridge Heights Community Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinician/Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to children, youth, adults, and families who have experienced trauma and abuse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Therapeutic Services: Provide individual, family, and group therapy to clients, utilizing evidence-based modalities and therapeutic approaches.
  • Case Management: Conduct intake/psychosocial history, screenings/assessment, and diagnosis (as needed), and complete bi-annual treatment plans and maintain case records.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Submit timely progress notes, monthly statistics, and bi-annual participant outcome surveys, utilizing electronic health records and billable services protocol.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Provide effective case management, including information and referral, advocacy, follow-up, crisis intervention, and coordination with other in-house and outside service providers and involved systems.
  • Training and Professional Development: Participate in coaching, training, clinical case presentations, and peer case reviews to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Community Outreach and Partnerships: Support planning and implementation of community outreach, gender-based violence advocacy with partner organizations, and annual events, both program-specific and agency-wide.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A master's degree in a relevant field and licensure as a mental health professional are required.
