Job Summary
This role supports the Maintenance Team in maintaining production equipment and spare parts, assisting with repairs and maintenance of physical assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain assigned equipment to ensure production and quality.
  • Monitor and maintain building and production systems, providing 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled.
  • Analyze mechanical and operational problems, make necessary corrections, and run adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
  • Test equipment to verify correct operation and production of quality products.
  • Develop and manage spare parts programs, ordering necessary parts and managing orders through the system.
  • Update technical SOPs for the Maintenance Department with support from the Engineering team.
  • Coordinate with vendors for facilities maintenance, ensuring services are provided according to the vendor preventative maintenance schedule.
  • Maintain inventory controls for cost-effective operations.
Requirements:

Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Work Experience:
  • Experience in a technical or mechanical environment is a plus.
  • Some plant or maintenance experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required.
  • This role requires exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical background to support the needs of the mechanics and the parts that must be ordered for efficient sourcing from vendors.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
