We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist PRN to join our team at Surgery Partners. Key Responsibilities- Perform fluoroscopic procedures for patients of all age groups, adhering to professional radiology practice standards.
- Position patients for radiologic examinations, ensuring proper anatomical posture and shielding.
- Operate radiologic equipment, including stationary and portable machines, to produce high-quality images.
- Develop, process, and maintain radiologic equipment and supplies.
- Assist in fluoroscopic work and prepare patients for radiologic examinations.
- Monitor patients during procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiologic technology issued by the Florida State Department of Health Services.
- Two years of experience in radiologic techniques and methods, or successful completion of a two-year training program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association.
- Knowledge of modern radiologic equipment and techniques, regional and gross anatomy of the human body, and standardized radiologic clinical procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively, work individually or as part of a team, and remain calm under pressure.
