Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist PRN to join our team at Surgery Partners. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing fluoroscopic procedures, positioning patients, and operating radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform fluoroscopic procedures for patients of all age groups, adhering to professional radiology practice standards.
  • Position patients for radiologic examinations, ensuring proper anatomical posture and shielding.
  • Operate radiologic equipment, including stationary and portable machines, to produce high-quality images.
  • Develop, process, and maintain radiologic equipment and supplies.
  • Assist in fluoroscopic work and prepare patients for radiologic examinations.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiologic technology issued by the Florida State Department of Health Services.
  • Two years of experience in radiologic techniques and methods, or successful completion of a two-year training program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association.
  • Knowledge of modern radiologic equipment and techniques, regional and gross anatomy of the human body, and standardized radiologic clinical procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, work individually or as part of a team, and remain calm under pressure.
