Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing duties involved in medically managed detoxification treatment of clients
- Direct, plan, and support technicians and other staff in providing care and treatment
- Confer with medical director in determining client care and treatment
- Conduct nursing medical assessment of each patient admitted to treatment
- Use clinical judgment in conjunction with physicians' orders and prepare prescribed medication
- Perform and/or supervise the administration of prescribed medication to clients
- Maintain the security of all controlled drugs, prescriptions, and over-the-counter medicine
- Identify medical and supply needs and maintain appropriate inventory records
- Position duties may require working different shifts
- Possess a current Nursing License from the State of South Carolina
- Good computer skills and prior AOD or psycho-social experience desired
