Job Title: Asset Auditor

Scientific Drilling Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Asset Auditor to join our team in Houston, TX. As an Asset Auditor, you will be responsible for overseeing and evaluating the condition, readiness, and overall health of our equipment and tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular audits of equipment and kit boxes to assess their condition and readiness for deployment.
  • Work closely with Operations and Product Line Managers to understand current and future assets and operational needs.
  • Oversee and manage fleet counts (audits) at all SDI facilities to ensure physical inventory and our ERP system match.
  • Produce detailed, accurate reports on the current status of assets.
  • Utilize SAP to manage asset tracking systems, ensuring all data related to audits, updates, and asset conditions is accurately recorded and maintained.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous experience using an ERP system.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Oil & gas industry experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of SAP experience.
  • Knowledge of downhole drilling tools.
  • Auditing experience.
Work Environment:

Conditions may include working inside and/or outside. May work around machines with moving parts and moving objects. Working near radiant and electrical energy. Working closely with others or working alone.

Physical Job Requirements:

  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, push, reach above the shoulder, grasp, pull, bend repeatedly, climb stairs and ladders, hear with aid, see, write, count, read, speak, analyze, lift and carry up to 40 lbs., operate a motor vehicle, and operate motor equipment.
  • Equipment (machines, tools, devices) used in performing the essential job function include but not limited to computer and related equipment, calculator, special instrumentation, forklift, pallet jack, hand tools, power tools, air tools, telephone, and automobile. Ability to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to, safety glasses, hardhat, reinforced toed shoes, coveralls, gloves, and ear plugs or muffs.
