Austin Heart is a renowned cardiology group with 45 physicians, 35 APP's and 225 employees, serving the community for over 25 years. With 12 full-time offices covering a vast service area, Austin Heart offers comprehensive clinical services, including a robust research program.
About the Role
This role involves working primarily with one non-invasive cardiologist who has been practicing in the area for 20 years. The successful candidate will join a team of 4 experienced cardiologists and 3 FT APPs. Responsibilities include outpatient and inpatient work (75% and 25%, respectively), with typical weekday hours from 7:30am – 5:00 pm. Weekend daytime hospital coverage/rounding is required up to 12 times annually, rounding at Georgetown and Round Rock. The salary for this position is $110,000-$140,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be licensed in the state of Texas, have at least 3+ years of cardiology experience, and hold a valid certification as an ACNP, FNP or PA. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role.
