Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry to join our team in Quincy, Illinois.

Job Description:
  • Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of patients. The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including Draeger tele monitors, and has a strong focus on patient care and satisfaction.

Requirements:
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in surgical nursing
  • Certifications: BLS, NIHSS
  • Skills: Must have total joint experience, understanding of PCA pumps, reversal drugs (narcan), sepsis management, experience with TPN/Lipids, and narcotic usage

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, be able to work effectively in a dynamic environment, and be committed to providing high-quality patient care.

Unit Information:
  • Unit: Med Surg/TELE - Inpatient Surgical - 3rd floor
  • Beds: 48 (two buildings)
  • Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:4-6

The unit is a busy and dynamic environment with a high volume of patients. The team is supportive and collaborative, and the facility is committed to providing excellent patient care and satisfaction.
