Position Overview

Compensation: $21.00 per hour, with additional Attendance Premium of $0.25 and Shift Premiums of $1.50 for swing shifts and $1.00 for night shifts. A longevity premium of $0.25 is available after one year of employment.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Detach the front half of the carcass from the back half and ensure a steady supply of front halves to the cone line.
  • Accurately clip tender tendons as required.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Physical Requirements
While fulfilling the responsibilities of this position, you will:

  • Regularly sit, walk, and stand; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and communicate effectively.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Consistently report to work on time and fulfill all scheduled hours, including overtime and weekends.
  • Comprehend and adhere to established protocols and procedures, while being open to constructive feedback.
  • Prioritize safety and exemplify good safety practices.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all Food Safety protocols.
  • Effectively use small hand tools (e.g., knives, scissors).
  • Bend, climb, stoop, and stand as necessary based on assigned tasks.
  • Engage in repetitive grasping, cutting, reaching, and lifting (between 3 – 5 lbs.).
  • Repetitively push, pull, and lift as required.
  • Stand on concrete floors, grating, or metal stands for extended periods.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
