About the Role

This is a key position within our 5-person team, responsible for technical activities including robotic solution development, pre-sales discovery calls, bill-of-material creation, technical support escalations, robot programming, automation cell design, and installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical lead for design and deployment of Ellison Automation Solutions
  • Conceptualize and design automation cells (level 2) and solutions (level 1)
  • Go-to resource for automation and robot support escalations, including assistance with requests from FSEs and TRC
  • Act as a technical liaison to Doosan Robotics (or other manufacturers) and serve as an extension of their engineering team
  • Member of implementation and installation teams as needed
  • Help train support organization on robots and assist with transitioning technical support responsibilities, keeping the support organization up-to-date on new releases and features from Doosan Robotics and Ellison Solutions
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of robotic integration experience and a 4-year engineering, mechatronics, or electrical degree, or similar. Extensive industry experience will be considered in lieu of a 4-year degree. Experience working for a systems integrator focused on robotics is a must. Working knowledge of major industrial robotics, with experience on Doosan Robotics advantageous. Ability to conceptualize and design robotic-based automation solutions for various client processes and workflows is essential. A working knowledge of computer and robotic programming, as well as the ability to work in CAD and read/interpret electrical diagrams, is necessary.
