Job Description

Red Rock Government Services is a Small Business consultancy providing consulting services to the federal government within the national security environment. This position requires a current and active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph security clearance and does not have the ability to sponsor candidates for clearance processing.

We are currently in search of a proficient Software Engineer with extensive expertise in Angular, Spring Boot, and Java. Demonstrated experience collaborating within agile environments, effectively contributing to development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code that meets the highest standards of quality.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs within applications, devise effective solutions to enhance performance and user experience.
  • Adhere to established coding standards and practices, conduct constructive peer reviews to elevate team performance.
  • Understand DevOps principles and practices, with insight into the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) lifecycle.
  • Apply micro services architecture to create scalable and maintainable applications.
  • Implement accessibility standards to ensure inclusivity in software design.
  • Deploy testing platforms and unit testing methodologies to ensure robustness and reliability of code.
  • Utilize GitHub for version control and collaborative code management.
  • Experience with Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery.
  • Familiarity with JIRA for project management and issue tracking.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, or a comparable combination of education and 5 years' experience.
