Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders
  • Create individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of our diverse patient population
  • Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders
  • Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes
  • Keep detailed records of patient progress and care plans
  • Report progress and status to relevant parties
Requirements:
  • Effective clinical problem-solving skills, including identifying and prioritizing issues, developing action plans, and executing them in a timely manner
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with a diverse population
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, productive environment
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license
Qualifications:
  • Experience in a SNF setting is required
  • Possesses a Master Degree in Speech Pathology
  • Certification in accordance with the American Speech Language Hearing Association
  • Licensed by the State in the designated geographic area
  • Candidate must be vaccinated
