Senior Quantitative Risk Officer

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Risk Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Risk Management department, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and validating methods of measuring and analyzing risk across various types of risk, including market, credit, and operational.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Enhance Risk Models: Create and refine statistical models to measure and analyze risk, ensuring they are accurate, reliable, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Validate and Deploy Models: Validate the performance of risk models and deploy them across the organization, ensuring seamless integration with business decisions and planning.
- Advance Risk Management Methodology: Develop and implement innovative risk management strategies, leveraging big data and advanced analytics to drive business growth and profitability.
- Manage Risk Assessments and Submissions: Oversee the development and submission of annual quantitative and qualitative risk assessments, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Risk and Decision Management organizations to understand new data sources and improve the process of defining, extracting, and utilizing new data.
- Provide Leadership and Guidance: Mentor junior modelers and provide guidance on risk management best practices, ensuring the development of a high-performing team.
- 7+ Years of Experience: Proven track record in quantitative risk management, with a strong understanding of statistical modeling concepts and industry best practices.
- Advanced Analytical Skills: Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to derive patterns, trends, and insights from complex data sets.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in analytical tools such as SAS, SQL, R, and C Programming in UNIX, as well as experience with big data environments.
- Effective Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire teams, as well as influence executive audiences.
- Education: Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially with a Master's degree in a relevant field.
Citigroup Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $141,000 to $212,160, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), life, accident, and disability insurance, and wellness programs. We also offer paid time off packages, including planned and unplanned time off, as well as paid holidays.
