Job Summary
The Los Rios Community College District is seeking a qualified candidate for a part-time, temporary (Adjunct) faculty position in Anthropology. This role involves teaching assigned classes under the supervision of the area dean, helping students achieve their academic potential, assessing student learning outcomes, and maintaining a thorough knowledge of the subject matter.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses across all levels in Anthropology, including Biological Anthropology, Cultural Anthropology, and other related courses. The instructional assignment may vary by campus, and the candidate will be expected to adapt to different teaching environments.

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a master's degree in Anthropology or Archaeology, or a bachelor's degree in either field with a master's degree in a related field such as Sociology, Biological Sciences, or Forensic Sciences. The candidate must also have an equity-minded focus, responsiveness, and sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds of community college students.
