Job Summary:

The Joshua School is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing targeted, evidence-based therapeutic intervention to facilitate student literacy and social engagement within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review evaluation results, integrate findings within students' overall programs, offer recommendations, and develop individual plans to improve student literacy and social communication skills.
- Develop speech and language-based intervention plans based on student needs and evaluation results, specifically to address literacy and social communication deficits that impede learning in current school/vocation settings.
- Use Behavior Skills Training to coach Lead Teachers, Instructional Assistants, family members, and other team members to implement speech and language recommendations and strategies.

Requirements:

- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Colorado Speech-Language Pathology License.
- ASHA Certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and ability to supervise SLPAs (completion of 2 years experience following ASHA Certification)
- Three years experience and a commitment to working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
