Role Responsibilities:
As a Junior Software Developer, your day-to-day tasks may include:

  • Creating software solutions that integrate into advanced synthetic training environments.
  • Assisting in software development, integration, and customer training within a dynamic testing framework.
  • Supporting objectives in large-scale operations across various domains, including air, surface, and space.
  • Applying knowledge of programming algorithms, design patterns, and object-oriented design principles.
  • Reviewing and evaluating C++ code for quality and performance.
  • Utilizing C++, Python 3, and HTML to meet specific client requirements and enhance design processes.
  • Implementing parallel processing, threading, and inter-process communication.
  • Developing web applications using modern development technologies.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to plan and design future enhancements.

Essential Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field, along with at least one year of experience in C++ programming.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency in scripting, database management, and C++ programming.
  • The ability to work in a hybrid schedule, including an initial training period on-site.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Skills:
While not mandatory, the following skills are advantageous:

  • Experience with Python 3 and HTML.
  • Familiarity with time-series analysis techniques.

Work Environment:
The role requires working in an office setting, primarily at a desk with computer usage for the majority of the workday. The environment is designed to be comfortable, allowing for flexibility in seating and movement.
