About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Matheny Medical and Educational Center. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care and support to our patients with medically complex developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapy plans to address communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic services, including speech and language therapy, to patients of all ages.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Supervise and mentor Speech Therapy student interns to promote professional growth and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with current techniques and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensure/Certifications: American Speech and Hearing/Language Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech/Language Pathology (CCC).
  • New Jersey Department of Education Speech Correctionist or Speech/Language Specialist Certificate.
  • New Jersey Speech/Language Pathologist License.
  • Current CPR Certification.
