Join our team at Tyonek Native Corporation as we support the repair and manufacturing operations for various aircraft including C-5, C-17, C-130, F-15, J-STARS, RQ-4, Global Hawk, and additional projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair integrated electronic systems, including fire control and missile guidance systems.
- Set up and operate automated test equipment to assess and troubleshoot integrated systems.
- Utilize and maintain hand and power tools, precision measurement instruments, and testing equipment.
- Conduct pre-test, operational, or final testing of electronic systems, components, or subassemblies.
- Perform final tuning, alignment, or calibration of electronic systems, components, or subassemblies.
- Interpret complex technical drawings, specifications, and schematics.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of four years of recent, verifiable experience in a related field.
- Strong understanding of electronic theories and practices related to complex integrated systems.
- Ability to read, interpret, and trace technical drawings and schematic diagrams.
- Experience with hand tools such as screwdrivers, drills, wrenches, soldering irons, and micro soldering units.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Ability to pass a background check, which may include criminal history and credit checks for access to government facilities.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Commitment to a drug-free workplace, including post-offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.
To successfully perform this role, individuals must be able to meet the following physical demands:
- Ability to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for extended periods.
- Capability to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.
- Ability to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbows/knees, and reach above/below shoulders.
- May need to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to read dials/gauges, identify small objects, and use hand tools.
- Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings, and other small scales.
- Ability to communicate verbally and detect sounds.
- Must be able to distinguish colors and judge three-dimensional depth.
- May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, and ground support equipment.
