- Assess staffing requirements and adjust personnel as necessary to meet operational metrics.
- Monitor and analyze patient care trends, initiating quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Oversee the training and development of staff competencies, focusing on technical skills, critical thinking, and interpersonal relations.
- Conduct annual performance evaluations and oversee the onboarding process for new hires, including 90-day assessments.
- Provide ongoing feedback and clarify performance expectations to foster employee growth.
- Address performance issues through confidential coaching sessions and collaborate with management on disciplinary actions.
- Act as a subject matter expert, addressing technical inquiries and concerns from staff and administration.
- Coordinate the completion of accreditation applications and manage the submission of necessary documentation for MRI departments.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and oversee MRI procedure standards.
- Gather and verify documentation from technical staff, ensuring adherence to state and national accreditation requirements.
- Manage payroll responsibilities and promote a culture of employee engagement and recognition.
- Conduct regular check-ins with staff to maintain a strong focus on quality and safety.
- A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in MRI.
- Proficient in MRI imaging techniques and protocols.
- Possession of a diploma, certificate, or degree from an accredited Radiography & MRI program; an associate's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
