We connect healthcare facilities with qualified professionals, enabling them to book shifts on-demand while ensuring that facilities can meet their staffing requirements efficiently.

Role Overview:

The Healthcare Staffing Specialist is tasked with comprehending the staffing requirements of our hospital clients and sourcing qualified nursing professionals from our extensive network.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating with fellow recruiters to highlight the staffing needs of our hospital partners, actively recruiting and placing candidates into available positions.

Your daily activities will involve initiating communication campaigns via text, email, and notifications to promote hospital contracts to our network of nursing professionals, conducting outreach to verify their qualifications, collecting necessary documentation, and facilitating the submission of this information to hospitals or relevant intermediaries for assessment.

When needed, you will assist in scheduling orientation shifts to ensure a mutual fit between the hospital and the nursing professional.

Maintaining communication with all parties involved (hospital representatives and nursing professionals) is crucial to expedite the hiring process.

Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the hospital sales team to launch new recruitment campaigns as contracts are finalized.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop tailored recruitment strategies to address specific job vacancies and hospital needs.
  • Engage with internal teams to identify potential candidates and perform direct outreach.
  • Excel in a dynamic, collaborative team setting.
  • Implement innovative time management techniques to handle diverse tasks effectively.
  • Serve as the primary contact for candidates throughout the recruitment and hiring process, ensuring they are well-informed.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should possess strong organizational skills to manage multiple job openings and hiring processes effectively, ensuring that qualified candidates are not overlooked.

Additionally, you must stay informed about the technical complexities of the positions you are hiring for, enabling you to communicate requirements accurately to candidates.

Timely communication is essential; you should aim to respond to candidates within one day.

Meeting performance metrics related to candidate sourcing, promotion speed, and time-to-fill is expected.

Essential Skills:
  • Empathy to understand and persuade others.
  • Quick adaptability to new software tools.
  • Efficient management of multiple candidate searches.

Collaboration:

You will work alongside hospital supply and sales teams to develop outreach strategies, evaluate candidate skills and credentials, and enhance relationships with existing hospital clients.

Engagement with hospital executives will involve determining specific role requirements and recommending best practices for fulfilling their staffing needs through the Clipboard Health network.

Tools Utilized:

Proficiency in GSuite applications (including Slack, Sheets, and Forms) is necessary. You should be comfortable making numerous calls daily to connect with healthcare professionals and address customer needs.

Strong writing and analytical skills are important for creating and refining processes to improve existing workflows.

Future Opportunities:

Top performers in this role may have the opportunity to advance to positions such as 'Hospital Senior Account Manager,' where you will oversee relationships with specific clients and ensure their staffing needs are met effectively.
