Position Overview

We are seeking skilled Software Engineers to enhance the capabilities of our advanced Distribution Management System (DMS). As a member of an Agile development team, you will be integral in developing the integrated real-time solution used for optimizing, managing, and supervising the operations of the electrical distribution grid. Your efforts in this role will significantly influence software that impacts thousands of daily users and millions of utility customers relying on these applications for service reliability.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of software development methodologies along with a commitment to continuous improvement of your skills. Additionally, self-motivation and organizational abilities are essential for effectively planning and executing moderately complex development initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with fellow developers, product managers, and architects to create software that meets our customers' complex needs.
  • Lead projects by formulating and implementing technical strategies.
  • Interpret intricate designs as part of a cohesive team.
  • Provide mentorship and training to team members in your area of expertise.
  • Assist clients in troubleshooting software challenges.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within the current software solution.

Qualifications Required

  • Minimum of 2 years of practical experience with C/C++.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
  • Ability to adapt to feedback and changing requirements.
  • Familiarity with algorithms and complex data structures.
  • Experience working with APIs and daemon processes.
