Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Della Infotech. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations, operating real-time imaging equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound examinations, including selecting equipment and imaging parameters to facilitate optimal diagnostic studies.
  • Review medical records for patient history and supporting clinical data, and explain procedures to patients.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to perform examinations, displaying broad knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, pathology, and physiological data.
  • Constantly evaluate accuracy and quality of scan results, selecting and recording preliminary study results, and presenting studies to radiologists for interpretation.
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment, recognizing malfunctions and ensuring quality control procedures are maintained.
  • Perform peripheral arterial physiologic studies when applicable, and assist with interventional procedures.
  • May perform reception/clerk duties for the Ultrasound Department.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of current experience as a General ULT.
  • ARDMS certification is required.
  • NH MIRT license is required; a temp license is acceptable, but a NH MIRT license may be delayed if the candidate does not have an out-of-state license.
  • Work history going back at least 7 years will be required for compliance verification purposes.
  • At least 2 supervisor references from within the previous 2 years of employment/contract.
  • Certifications: NH License of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy, ARDMS, BLS (AHA).
  • State license requirements: New Hampshire.
Working Conditions

This is a temp position with a 12-hour schedule, on-call requirements TBD, and a BR/hr rate. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded General ULT with excellent communication and technical skills.
