Job Summary

The Pharmaceutical Packaging Lead will play a pivotal role in the production of clinical trial supplies, ensuring compliance with cGMPs and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the packaging and labeling process, utilizing technical writing skills to generate procedures and guidelines.
  • Supervise union staff in all aspects of packaging and labeling, maintaining label stock inventory and employee records.
  • Assure all production orders are executed in accordance with CGMPs and departmental SOPs, utilizing SAP to deliver complete, error-free technical documentation.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and familiarity with production equipment, troubleshooting and resolving problems as they arise.
  • Develop and recommend improvements to facilities, equipment, or procedures to improve quality, safety, and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science or Mechanical Engineering Degree, or equivalent amount of relevant experience.
  • 5+ years in a pharmaceutical industry, preferably pharmaceutical manufacturing with a focus on Clinical Trial Supplies.
  • 3-5 years of progressive leadership or supervisory experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Working knowledge and experience in lean/Six Sigma tools and concepts; 5S, Kanban, Kaizen, Green Belt Black Belt, etc.

The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of cGMPs and regulatory requirements, as well as excellent written and communication skills.

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
