Job Summary: SPP Pumps is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for creating mechanical and electrical pump station designs for submittals and shop packs. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

About the Role: In this position, you will manage custom pump station projects from order entry to shipment. Your responsibilities will include designing building layouts and mechanical layouts based on customer requirements, evaluating component selections provided by sales, and creating 3D design models using SolidWorks. You will also be responsible for creating 2D drawings, as-built drawings, and operating and maintenance manuals. Additionally, you will compile manufacturing drawings and create complete bills of materials for electrical and mechanical components.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 4 years of design experience. You must be proficient in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D design software and have strong computer aptitude, including expertise with Microsoft Excel and Word. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as a high level of integrity and dependability.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
