  • Ensure inbound trailers are safely secured prior to unloading and stage pallets in designated areas for receiving and QA inspection.
  • Palletize mixed products onto separate pallets to facilitate accurate inspection and receipt.
  • Scan pallets and verify QA stickers and Receiving License Plates are complete before hauling them to storage locations.
  • Rotate older pallets of like product in elevated storage locations to make way for newly received items.
  • Keep the dock clear of debris and maintain organized pallets and receiving tools.
Production Support
  • Verify products being issued to production teams against drop lists and production sheets to prevent errors.
  • Keep production drop zones stocked and clean, and ensure all pallets being returned are not mixed and are properly labeled.
Shipping
  • Ensure outbound trailers are safely secured and inspect for debris, holes, pests, or temperature deviations prior to loading.
  • Load pallets and complete load diagrams accurately, and seal the truck before turning in the diagram.
  • Remove safety devices once paperwork is turned in and keep the dock clear of debris.
Warehouse Organization
  • Keep the warehouse organized by ensuring all products are returned to their proper locations after use.
  • Group like items together for easier location and prevent mixed pallets in storage or pick bays.
  • Use the reach truck to pull down existing pallets in higher elevations to make way for new products.
  • Proactively rotate older products down to floor selection/pick positions for quick retrieval.
  • Keep selection/pick positions replenished to minimize downtime for warehouse associates.
General Responsibilities
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE throughout the execution of tasks.
  • Follow facility GMPs and help enforce them throughout the facility.
  • Sign for equipment needed to perform duties and ensure it is signed back in upon completion of shift.
  • Support the company's food safety system (SQF) and quality programs.
  • Be respectful of others and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times.
Qualifications
  • General high school degree or equivalent.
  • Previous experience using standup counterbalance forklift/reach truck preferred.
