As a Van Truckload Driver Instructor at Schneider, you will play a critical role in shaping the next generation of professional truck drivers. Your expertise and passion for teaching will help new driver associates develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this rewarding career.
Key Responsibilities- Coach and mentor new driver associates in a team environment, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
- Develop and deliver training programs that meet Schneider's high standards, ensuring that new drivers are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Conduct hands-on training in the classroom and on the road, using a combination of theoretical and practical instruction to help new drivers learn and retain information.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of new drivers, providing feedback and coaching to help them improve their performance.
- Collaborate with other instructors and training staff to ensure that training programs are aligned with Schneider's overall business objectives.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- DOT physical card
- Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
- Ability to coach and mentor effectively in a team environment
