As a Registered Nurse, you will work in home-like cottages with 12 elders per cottage and a ratio of 1:4 for CNA for elders on the day shift and 1:12 on the night shift. Our nurse to elder ratio is 1:24, and the CNAs take care of the elders by cooking food, cleaning rooms and kitchen, assisting with activities, and providing cares.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medication, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, medications, and self-care techniques.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.
  • Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to the appropriate medical staff.
  • Adhere to all nursing standards and protocols.

Requirements:

  • Current unrestricted Wyoming Registered Nurse Licensure.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered nurse preferred, but not required.
  • BLS certification, required.
  • Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record system is a plus.
  • Proficiency in catheterization, DME (Durable Medical Equipment), sonography, and home care procedures.
  • Central Registry, required on start.
