MetaSense, Inc. is in search of a traveling Cardiac Ultrasound Specialist for an exciting opportunity.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality Adult Echocardiograms in accordance with established guidelines in a leading cardiac facility.
- Must possess dedicated experience in inpatient echo procedures, evidenced by a minimum of 200 documented inpatient echocardiography cases.
- Demonstrate proficiency in valvular evaluations and possess strong skills in spectral Doppler and Pedoff techniques.
- Familiarity with contrast echocardiography and agitated saline studies is essential.
- Ability to work autonomously, identify abnormalities, and respond swiftly to critical findings.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) and Stress Echocardiography.
- Knowledge of 3D echocardiography imaging techniques.
- Understanding of TAVR, Mitral Clip, Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, VAD, and closure device protocols.
- Adherence to ICAEL-accreditation standards for echo labs.
- Experience with Philips ie33 and Epiq systems is advantageous.
- Familiarity with hospital information systems is a plus.

Educational Background:
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Graduates from CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Cardiovascular Technology Programs are preferred.

Certifications:
- Must hold a Registered Cardiac Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification from ARDMS or CCI.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA is required.
