Illinois Oil Marketing Equipment, Inc. is seeking a skilled Installation Technician to join our team. As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for performing tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. This role requires the ability to operate hand and power tools of all types and various other equipment and instruments.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Read and interpret plans, instructions, and specifications to determine work activities and ensure compliance with project plans.
- Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations according to project plans.
- Measure, mark, or record openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed.
- Operate jackhammers or drills to break up concrete or pavement, and dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications.
- Position, join, align, or seal structural components, and position or dismantle forms for pouring concrete.
- Operate or maintain air monitoring or other sampling devices in confined or hazardous environments.
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
- Ability to work in all weather types and lift 100+ lbs.
