Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform Cardiac First Pass Radionuclide Ventriculography studies at rest and exercise. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing radiopharmaceuticals, administering radiopharmaceuticals to subjects, and completing testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare radiopharmaceuticals from commercially available kits and/or recipes for use in patient studies.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to subjects and complete testing.
  • Perform intra-venous peripheral catheter insertion as authorized by the PI.
  • Observe radiation safety techniques, including use of protective shielding and handling and disposal of radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Lift, move, transport, and position subjects for research studies.

Requirements:

  • Radiologic technologist (Nuclear Medicine) in the state of Massachusetts required.
  • ARRT or NMTCB required.
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • BS degree in NM Technology preferred or BS in unrelated field with a certificate in NM Technology preferred.
