Position Overview

Midland Memorial Hospital is in search of a skilled CT Technologist to join our healthcare team. This role requires a commitment to working during designated holidays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize theoretical knowledge and practical skills to operate CT equipment and accessories effectively.
  • Patient Care: Assess patient situations with care and professionalism, ensuring that all actions are in the best interest of the patient.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between patients and physicians, gathering essential information to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment.
  • Safety Protocols: Adhere to established standards of practice, demonstrating proficiency in minimizing radiation exposure for patients and staff.
Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Applied Science-Radiology or completion of an accredited hospital-based program.
  • Current ARRT (R) certification with CT registration.
  • Completion of cross-sectional anatomy coursework.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in diagnostic imaging.
  • Possession of a valid State of Texas Radiology Technologist License.
Work Schedule

This position requires evening shifts from Monday to Friday, specifically from 3 PM to 11:30 PM, with no on-call duties.

Additional Information
  • Travelers or agency staff will be responsible for securing their own housing.
  • A comprehensive background check will be conducted for selected candidates.
