About the Opportunity:

Sanford Broadway Clinic is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join their team as a Medical Surgical Specialist. This 13-week assignment offers a competitive salary of $2398 per week, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.

Job Description:

As a Medical Surgical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to Medical Surgical patients and Surgical Oncology patients. You will work collaboratively with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care.

Responsibilities:

  • Care for Medical Surgical patients and Surgical Oncology patients
  • Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care
  • Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge
  • Utilize appropriate age and population-specific standards in the clinical setting
  • Floating to any Med Surg unit on any campus may be required
  • Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1 during day shift and 6:1 during night shift

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 1 year recent Medical Surgical experience and an active RN License from ND or Compact state. Additionally, you should be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and have experience working with EPIC electronic medical record system. Experience in a larger hospital (minimum 200 beds), level 2 or higher trauma center is also preferred.
