Job Overview

Position Details:
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week
  • Employment Status: Exempt
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:
  • Supervise and mentor all assigned therapeutic staff.
  • Manage caseload assignments and coordinate staff activities to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Facilitate ongoing clinical collaboration with site directors and supervisors to maintain continuity of care for clients.
  • Organize monthly team meetings and group supervision sessions.
  • Schedule consultations for complex cases with program leadership as necessary.
Administrative Duties:
  • Oversee daily operations for both on-site and off-site staff.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of Medicaid regulations.
  • Develop expertise in billing and compensation processes.
  • Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with program leadership for updates on progress.
  • Participate in monthly site director meetings.
  • Train, develop, and retain assigned staff effectively.
  • Manage the budget for the assigned site responsibly.
  • Act as an EMR super user to assist staff with technical issues.
  • Respond promptly to communications from clients, families, and referral sources.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners to enhance referral opportunities.
  • Ensure efficient management of the referral process.
  • Maintain compliance with regulations and documentation standards.
  • Ensure all treatment plans are current and properly signed.
  • Guarantee compliance with all required training.
  • Address feedback from internal and external sources in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Licensure in the State of Maryland as LMSW, LGPC, LCPC, or LCSW-C is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in social work or counseling.
  • At least three years of management and supervisory experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and COMAR standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Ability to lead and manage staff effectively.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% as required.
