Estimated Salary: $74,000 - $89,000 per yearKey Responsibilities:
  • Administer and measure radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using advanced radioscope equipment.
  • Prepare stock solutions of radioactive materials and calculate dosages for radiologists.
  • Subject patients to radiation while ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Execute blood volume, red cell survival, and fat absorption studies following standard laboratory techniques.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an education program in nuclear medicine technology accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation.
  • Nationally certified as a Registered Medical Technologist or Registered Radiologic Technologist.
  • Four years of clinical NMT experience or Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a physical or biological science.
