Job Title: Bottling Mechanic

Rack & Riddle Custom Wine Services, a leading custom sparkling wine producer in the United States, is seeking an experienced Bottling Line Mechanic to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Bottling Line Mechanic to install, perform maintenance on, and repair bottling equipment, including repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of bottling equipment/machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, repair, and modify existing and new equipment.
  • Utilize a variety of hand, portable, and industrial power tools.
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager to ensure that the bottling lines are running efficiently.
  • Fabricate specialized equipment relative to the bottling lines.
  • Provide assistance in the maintenance and troubleshooting of programmable logic control systems (PLC).
  • Maintain, repair, and perform a variety of other skilled maintenance duties such as welding, plumbing, and equipment repairs.
  • Continually review equipment or systems that need repair and work with the Bottling Maintenance Supervisor to schedule and complete.
Requirements:
  • High degree of competence in bottling systems including PLC controls, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and document workflow.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good teamwork and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and adjust to changing timelines.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
  • Lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 50 pounds over short distances.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stretch, reach, grasp, crouch, turn, and kneel.
  • Must possess a valid California driver's license and be able to demonstrate a clean driving record.
