Tenet-Alabama is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Homewood, Alabama.
Job Summary:This role provides direct clinical patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of assigned patients on a per shift basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, and maintaining competency of clinical staff.
Responsibilities:- Assess and plan patient care, implementing and evaluating interventions as needed.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure, certification, or registration to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
