As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing occupational therapy to patients in their homes, helping them to restore their physical abilities and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy to patients in their homes, following established plans of care and state-specific laws governing occupational therapy in home care.
  • Instruct and aid patients in evidence-based treatment within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant and according to state laws governing occupational therapy assistants.
  • Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and changes in patient condition to supervising OTs, nurse supervisors, and physicians.
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare team members as appropriate.
  • Instruct patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare team members in therapy areas within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant.

Requirements:

  • Current OTA licensure in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
