Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at NYU Langone Health. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the nursing team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist professional nurses in patient care tasks, ensuring a safe and compassionate environment.
- Provide support in maintaining supplies, equipment, and a clean environment.
- Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives, including patient satisfaction and other measures.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure seamless patient care.
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Graduate of PCT program with at least 6 months hospital experience.
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Competencies: Working knowledge of English, computer skills, and proficiency in venipuncture and phlebotomy.
