Job Summary

We are seeking a Dishwasher to join our kitchen staff. In this role, you will be responsible for loading the dishwasher with dirty dishes and unloading clean dishes. You will also be performing general cleaning tasks as assigned by the restaurant manager.

Responsibilities

  • Remove food from plates and utensils
  • Pre-rinse dishes, glasses, and tableware and load them into the dishwasher
  • Unload the dishwasher and put items away in the proper areas
  • Sweep and mop floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Monitor levels of detergent and cleaning supplies to ensure a smooth operation
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Participate in team meetings to stay informed and engaged
  • Perform other cleaning duties as assigned by the restaurant manager

Qualifications

  • Hard worker with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods and bending repeatedly
