We are seeking an experienced Telemedicine Specialist to join our team as an Advanced Practice Professional. This role will involve providing comprehensive patient care through telemedicine technology, collaborating with clinical teams, and participating in education and research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage comprehensive and individualized care for patients and their families via telemedicine technology.
- Complete emergency room telepsychiatry consults and integrated assessments, communicating findings with the clinical team.
- Order additional tests or consults as deemed appropriate, following established clinical guidelines and scope of practice.
- Perform and communicate results of diagnostic tests, and consult with clinic and hospital staff regarding abnormal findings.
- Develop and implement comprehensive individualized plans of care, including teaching, discharge planning, and necessary referrals.
- Graduate of a CCNE accredited nursing program with Master's Degree in Nursing.
- National Certification by one of the recognized APRN Certification Centers.
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a professional Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in West Virginia.
- American Heart Association BLS Certification required with additional Advanced Life Support training at the discretion of the department.
- Telemedicine experience preferred.
- Eligible new graduates will be considered.
