Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer II to join our custom product development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the conceptual development, mathematical analysis, detailed design, and overall performance of sophisticated refrigeration products and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply standard and sophisticated technical and mathematical principles to design and develop refrigeration products and systems.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify product design requirements and cost optimization opportunities.
  • Track and control product cost and warranty expenses.
  • Perform calculations and publish performance data to meet internal and external delivery engineering documents.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time completion of projects.
  • Develop mathematical calculations and formulas using multiple variables, and analyze results to identify chiller performance characteristics.
  • Establish test criteria, participate in laboratory testing, and analyze test data to identify product performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited).
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in an Engineering role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) as well as AutoCAD, Inventor, Internet software, and email.
  • Preferred experience with refrigeration and/or industrial refrigeration.
  • SAP experience.
  • Familiarity with ASHARE and/or API Specs.
